Reproductive health, in both men and women, depends on the health of the reproductive tissue or Shukra dhatu. In women, shukra creates the ovum as part of the monthly cycle, and in men, the semen is formed due to sexual stimulation. The shukra is created as part of a long chain of metabolic transformations. It starts with the digestion of food, then goes on to transformation of food to nutrient fluid, blood, muscle, fat, bone, bone marrow, and finally, to shukra tissue. Healthy shukra tissue, then, according to Ayurveda, depends on the health of all the other tissues in the body.

Male/Female infertility may be treated with ayurvedic medicines and panchkarma procedures which corrects the imbalances of doshas and dhatus in the body. Medines and panchkarma are chosen after detailed consultation at SKK Ayurveda and Panchkarma. Dr. Rani Gupta who is senior Ayurvedic Gynecologist at Skk Ayurveda is having experience of over 18 years in this field.
She is M.D. Gynecolgy ( Gold Medalist) form a prestigious Institute of medical sciences, BHU in Ayurveda field.

In cases which are not very chronic, not undergone long hormonal treatments and the dosha vitiation is not too much, ayurvedic medicines also respond very well.

Shodhan chikitsa which is also called Panchakarma involves 5 types of processes of cleansing the body based on the imbalanced doshas (vata, pitta and kapha). The three main therapies are:

  • Vaman: to treat imbalanced Kapha
  • Virechan: to treat imbalanced Pitta
  • Basti: to treat imbalanced Vata
  • Uttar vasti: Intra uterine instillation of medicine especially for fallopian tube blockage, endometriosis, less endometrial thickness etc.
  • Yoni pichu: Intra vaginal tampooning with herbal oils and medicines

It is the major cause of infertility.Blocked tubes are unable to let the ovum and sperm unite, thus making pregnancy impossible.
Most common causes are previous infections and abortions.
According to Ayurveda, vitiation of vata dosha can be considered as most important factor for tubal blockage.Kapha and pitta are also associated for thier obstructive and inflammatory patologies respectively.
SKK Ayurveda gives excellant results in such cases under the expert guidance of Dr. Rani Gupta, senior Ayurvedic gynecologist. Along with panchkarma detoxification, Uttar vasti is the most effective treatment in removing fallopian tube blockage.
